Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency

SALARY RANGE REFLECTS SPAN OF PROFESSIONAL LADDER.

* $10,000 sign-on bonus for Full Time positions.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the staff RN performsprofessional role functions in accordance with scope of practice andprofessional standards, including demonstrating the knowledge and ability touse and/or lead the scope of practice, professional standards and accreditation/ regulatory standards, scope of practice for LVN and all other nursingpersonnel e.g. unlicensed assistive personnel. The RN demonstrates theability to assess their own professional role performance, current knowledge oftheory and principles related to discipline specific practice, and the abilityto use a population based approach to determine patient needs.

*Minimum 1 year of experience preferred

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:

1. Graduate of an accredited RegisteredNurse (RN) program required.

2. Experience and/or training inleadership preferred, if acting as a charge nurse

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

1. Current license as aRegistered Nurse in the State of California.

2. Current BLS (American HeartAssociation) certification required.

3. Current ACLS (American HeartAssociation) required within 3 months ofhire (ACLS required within 6 months for new grad RNs).

4. Current PALS( American HeartAssociation) required within 3 months of hire, (PALS required within 6 monthsfor new grad RNs).

5. MAB is requiredto be completed on the first day of work. (Grandfathered: existingemployees must complete new requirements by 6/9/2025.)

6. Current NIHSS certificaterequired within 6 months of hire.
