RN- Outpatient General Surgery Position SummaryÂ
The Registered Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. Acts as a patient advocate. Provides support, information and direct care. Utilizes equipment and technology skillfully and is technically competent in nursing procedures. Educates patients and families on significant self-care issues.Â
The Registered Nurse position in General Surgery will have a heavy emphasis on clinical support, wound care management, medication management and phone triage. Will work to build Nurse visit patient panel

RN- Outpatient General Surgery Position Requirements Â
- Licensed and currently registered as an RN in state of residence
- Current BLS certification with American Heart Association
- One to three years experience in a medical office setting preferred
Â
RN- Outpatient General Surgery Schedule
- Tuesday - Friday (2-3 shifts per week) Flexible
RN- Outpatient General Surgery BenefitsÂ
- At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.Â
