Job Description
The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Data Management, located at 1305 E. Walnut, Des Moines, IA is seeking a Testing Resource for the Automated Regression Testing Team.
The Automated Regression Testing Team is tasked with converting the current WORKSOFT automated test suite to the TOSCA platform and maintain the test suite going forward.
Automated Regression Tester Role• Transform business test cases into automated test coverage• Develop repeatable fully automated tests, using the Tricentis TOSCA tool, that will operate without manual intervention• Provide creative solutions to challenges encountered developing repeatable automation• Rapidly update tests based on changes in the application• Contribute to the build out of lights out automation• Create test coverage using risk based testing techniques
Automated Regression Testing Project Goals• Reduce the one week turn-around time to a maximum of 3 days• Increase test coverage with an overall reduction in the number of test cases (60%) and expected reduction in turn-around time for full-suite execution• Provide business and the UAT Team with access to high level and detailed information on test coverage• Reduce the time required to maintain test scripts to support changes in the AUTs (Applications Under Test)• Increase testing validations including a comprehensive validation of NOAs (Notice of Action)• Provide comprehensive test coverage across Medicaid Eligibility, FIP, and SNAP
