Overview

The Regulatory Adherence Team is the 2nd Line control function responsible for the lifecycle of regulatory change and management of the associated risk. The team manages the process around the assessment of regulatory change and the impact those changes have on Deutsche Bank, its business or infrastructure functions globally. You will be responsible for raising awareness within the Bank of regulatory changes and challenging functions to ensure regulatory adherence is maintained. You will be driving continuous improvements to the Regulatory Adherence processes and tools to drive further effectiveness and efficiency.

What You'll Do
  • Overseeing Regulatory Adherence strategic initiatives and representing Regulatory Adherence in Bank-wide programs
  • Driving enhancements to the existing Regulatory Adherence processes and IT tools
  • Designing and managing the implementation of MI on Key Performance and Key Risk Indicators
  • Interacting with auditors and regulators as required

How You'll Lead
  • Coordinate with 1st and 2nd Line of Defense cross-divisional teams on the execution of various fast paced initiatives and continuously strengthening the Regulatory Adherence function
  • Present updates to senior management and other stakeholders

Skills You'll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree, post-graduate a plus
  • Extensive experience in Compliance is preferred, although similar experience will be considered
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

Skills That Will Help You Excel
  • Experience working closely with program and project managers in carrying out large, complex, global initiatives with high energy and enthusiasm levels and exhibiting team leadership
  • Strong understanding of the various financial services laws, rules, regulations of one (or preferably several) of the global financial centers
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence others and engage senior stakeholders and foster collaboration among Compliance, the Business and other infrastructure functions
  • Action-oriented and delivery focused with a disciplined approach and an ability to be proactive, work under pressure, and within tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy, showing initiative, and reacting quickly to changes in priorities

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $177,000 to $266,700.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
