ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are looking for a  Regulatory Manager to ensure our courses meet all required regulations, and that we are in compliance with all audits, reporting, and renewals across all brands and verticals. Reporting to the Director of Regulatory and Compliance, this role is a critical link for the maintenance of our online courses, as well as submission of new courses. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support a growing regulatory and compliance organization which provides multiple brands and courses  
  • Confer with cross-functional partners (such as Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Learning Experience) on regulatory opportunities, questions, and improvements as needed
  • Document, organize, and disseminate processes, rules, and procedures intended to communicate and inform internal stakeholders of critical regulatory processes and requirements 
  • Track and maintain all regulatory activities, including school and course renewal deadlines, and submit renewal documentation and fees in a timely fashion in order to maintain active approvals for multiple verticals
  • Build relationships and trust with regulatory and government contacts to keep communication flowing and processes smooth
  • Track and maintain regulatory updates, audits, and reporting and work with internal and external stakeholders to address any deficiencies 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience - education and work experience may substitute for one another on a year to year basis
  • Proven ability to manage and lead large, complex regulatory submissions and renewals with multiple business stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and ability to align project management best practices and reporting with strategic goals
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to navigate conflicting requirements and priorities

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience using Google Docs/Sheets
  • Experience with product and/or process training for support teams
  • Experience using the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence)

The Aceable Legal & Regulatory Team provides daily legal and regulatory counsel to all Aceable departments, owning the company’s legal and regulatory priorities and processes and ensuring state compliance for every single Aceable course.

Salary Range for this position is $78,000 to $87,000 a year
