What weโre looking for
Cross Riverโs Finance team is looking to bring on a Regulatory Reporting Associate to prepare assigned regulatory reports in an accurate and timely manner in accordance instructions from regulatory authorities. This associate will work closely with senior leaders, advising them on different reports, best practices, and relevant accounting and financial data.ย
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, analytical review, and filing of core Federal Reserve regulatory reports including but not limited to the FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031 (Call Report), FR 2900, FR 2644
- Draft responses to regulator inquiries
- Monitor and implement on-going changes in regulatory reporting requirements
- Collaborate with various business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Assist with data collection and the development of controls to ensure completeness and accuracy across all reports
- Assist in other various ad hoc project
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field
- 3-5 years relevant work experience (preferably with a public accounting or financial services firm)
- Previous experience with FDIC filings
- CPA preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products - Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientation, as well as analytical skills
- Experience working with FIS Call Reporter or other regulatory reporting platforms
