Regulatory Risk Compliance Specialist
Our fast-paced North America Compliance Team is looking for a Regulatory Risk Compliance Specialist to provide compliance oversight and assistance to Adyen’s established and future product and service offerings.Â
As a Regulatory Risk Compliance Specialist, you will be working across various functions and teams in order to assess and document any compliance risks, build out compliance frameworks, and be a voice for second line compliance risks. This helps our North American commercial and product teams to manage risk, identify opportunities, and deliver on Adyen’s offering of exceptional products and services. What You’ll Do:
- Take ownership over our regulatory risk compliance management, with focus on regulations impacting financial services;
- Develop and maintain 2nd line compliance policies for risk obligations and communicate any changes internally;
- Partner with first line teams on key regulatory risk assessments and operating processes as a result of risk assessments;Â Â
- Interface with external partners and regulators;
- Work with wider compliance and legal teams to provide guidance and risk assessments related to our regulatory obligations
Who you are:Â
- You have 4+ years of experience, preferably with a major card scheme, regulated US bank, foreign bank, or fintech company;
- You have awareness of compliance risk assessments and are able to consider these when making decisions that impact the business;
- You are able to understand complex challenges and convert them into structured solutions, which are actionable for both internal and external stakeholders;
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey advice clearly and synthesize complex issues;
- You have solid interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with both internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures.
- This role is based out of our San Francisco office. We have a hybrid workplace and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles
