Notified is hiring a Regulatory Specialist in El Segundo, CA or Chicago, IL. The shift will be 1:00p - 10:00p Eastern Time. This position will offer a hybrid work schedule; Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in our office with the option of working remotely on Monday & Friday.
Candidates with knowledge of HTML & CSS will be highly considered.
Job Summary:
The Regulatory Specialist plays a key role in helping drive clients' Regulatory and PR distribution services and involves high concentration in document conversion and customer service. The main responsibility will be to review and format clients' regulatory filings and press releases under pressing deadlines. GlobeNewswire clients range from C-Suite executives to PR professionals, across multiple industries. We service both PR and IR companies.
Essential Duties:

• Assist with our clients' regulatory needs, such as SEDAR and EDGAR filing.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
• Use software applications to convert Microsoft Word and Excel into HTML.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS source code.
• Communicate with clients via phone and email.
• Format documents to match the client's original version as closely as possible.
• Embraces collaborating with teammates.
• Manage client's XBRL timeline and communication with the XBRL vendor.
• Ability to work occasional overtime during high volume periods.
• Knowledge of other Notified service offerings.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience required.
• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment required.

• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• The ability to maintain focus in stressful situations.
• Exceptional time-management skills, ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.

Travel/Physical Demands:

• Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The starting pay for this position in California is between $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
