Regulatory Specialist

ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are looking for a Regulatory Specialist to ensure our educational courses meet all required state regulations. Reporting to the Director Regulatory and Compliance, this role will provide critical research and administrative support in order to maintain, plan, and execute our online courses. Our ideal Regulatory Specialist has a keen attention to detail, a passion for processes, and a love for keeping documentation organized. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Track renewal deadlines and submit renewal applications, supporting documentation, and fees to regulatory and government bodies for multiple verticals 
• Create and manage relationships with regulatory and government contacts
• Manage submission of quarterly/yearly reports and state requested data/audit materials to regulatory and government bodies, including, but not limited to, student completion information and quarterly/annual business/corporation reports
• Respond to inquiries from regulatory and government bodies and cross-functional partners (such as Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Learning Experience)    
• Communicate regulatory updates to cross-functional partners 
• As the company expands into new states or verticals, research, document, and communicate in-depth regulatory approval requirements to be used by cross-functional partners to ensure awareness, mitigate potential blockers, and support successful product launches 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• 2+ years of relevant work experience 
• Strong organization skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities 
• Conscientious of deadlines while maintaining quality 
• Impeccable written and oral communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with local and remote regulatory agencies
• Experience conducting independent research on various rules, regulations, and market data, producing report summaries, and sharing results with key stakeholders 

BONUS POINTS

• Experience using Google Docs/Sheets
• Experience with product and/or process training for support teams

The Aceable Legal & Regulatory Team provides support to all Aceable departments, owning the company’s legal and regulatory priorities and processes and ensuring compliance for all Aceable courses.

Colorado Residents: the salary range for this role is $57,000 - $63,000 annually.
