Reinsurance Accountant

A growing insurance company is hiring an experienced Accountant to focus on the reinsurance operations of the team. This position will work closely with the Controller with the support of three other accountants. This is a company that will continue to rapidly grow, so we are looking for someone who is flexible to change.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of reinsurance data.
• Maintain multiple Quota Share treaties that change quarterly.
• Monthly general ledger entries, calculations, and reconciliations.
• Processed and organized raw data from Claims system
• Created new macros for changing general ledger systems.

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 3+ years in insurance accounting
