The Job At-A-Glance :
Q2 Digital Lending is a division of the overall Q2 Emerging Business Portfolio. We provide a Software-as-a-Service platform targeted specifically for the needs of global Non-Bank Lenders ("Alt-Fi Lenders"). Our team of Software professionals work in support of the overall Q2 Mission, to build strong and diverse communities by strengthening their financial institutions. Our division's specific focus is to provide a reliable and innovative platform for our Alt-Fi customers so that they can provide Consumers and Small Businesses access to the Credit they need to realize their full potential. We design, build, and implement an end-to-end suite consisting of Loan Origination, Servicing, Collections, and Investor Management applications, all based on the world-class Salesforce platform.
Q2 Digital Lending is seeking a highly motivated Manager, Relationship Development to lead our team responsible for prospecting new relationships with Non-Bank Lenders ("Alt-Fi Lenders").
A Typical Day :
- Design and implement an Alt-FI Prospecting process
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a team Relationship Development Specialists
- Prospect for new business via phone, email, and marketing campaigns
- Qualify inbound leads, leads from digital campaigns, tradeshows, and referrals
- Identify and understand prospect needs via detailed discovery meetings
- Align Non-Bank Lender needs/goals with Q2 Digital Lending solutions to drive optimal value.
- Participate in marketing events and trade shows
- Update and ensure Salesforce database accuracy
- Assist Sales Managers with pricing proposals, product demonstrations, and prospect follow-up.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers, prospects, and partner vendors.
- Ensure that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to.
- Create, maintain, facilitate, and deliver on strategic marketing activities including but not limited to case studies, blogs, white papers, webinars, etc. related to Q2 Digital Lending.
- Participate and provide support and monitoring of all marketing related activities related to Q2 Digital Lending including but not limited to branding, website content, social media content, etc.
- Continual review of existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing solutions to increase productivity, customer satisfaction, and sales.
- Other ad-hoc activities related to Sales and Marketing for Q2 Digital Lending.

- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 4+ years of experience.
- Typically requires 1-2 years managing and developing employees.
- Understanding of and successful experience with complex sales process a plus
- Strong sales, presentation, and negotiation skills a plus
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, out of the box thinking.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and interact effectively across all teams.
- Strong computer skills; proficient in all Microsoft Office solutions
- Prior Salesforce.com experience a plus
- Willingness to work with a global team, across time zones.
