Job Description
A subsidiary of the ASX-listed McMillan Shakespeare Limited, Interleasing helps companies across a range of sectors in Australia and New Zealand maximise the value of their asset (cars, heavy vehicles and machinery) through tailored fleet and commercial asset/finance solutions. With more than 35 years’ experience, our services include fleet finance (90% cars), vehicle sourcing, novated leasing and fleet management (all that comes with maintaining a vehicle) or heavy vehicle or machinery.
As the Relationship Manager you will ensure client retention and growth of the Interleasing portfolio by establishing strong B2B relationships to form long term strategic alliances.Â
In your Relationship Manager role, you will provide exceptional service whilst adhering to contractual agreements, reactivate dormant client relationships and facilitate client and customer education on product, services and systems. You will achieve outstanding client retention, portfolio profitability, cross selling of the range of company products and up-selling of services. You will also be an important source of market information for our clients and customers / a trusted business partner.
Along with the above, your role will also be an integral part of launching fleet-management services to new clients. Your performance will be measured by strategic involvement with key clients, revenue generation and up-selling of additional services and maintaining profitability.
The Role
- Maintain and develop strong strategic customer relationships and understanding of client needs.
- Conduct regular customer meetings, ensuring productive relationships are fostered and maintained with key decision makers.
- Conduct regular fleet reviews as required and seek opportunities to reduce costs through increased fleet optimisation.
- Adopt a continuous improvement perspective to ensure that the customer experience is forefront of mind.
- Proactively seek opportunities to up-sell additional Interleasing Connect services to clients to increase portfolio profitability and revenue generation for the organisation.
- Cross sell of Maxxia Novated Leasing and Salary Packaging services to existing Interleasing customers.
- Increase share of customers fleet to position Interleasing as the clients preferred provider.
- Manage lease contract expiry, ensuring that no leases run past expiry.
You will bring
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Proficient experience using a database and recording customer interactions.
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in an account management/relationship management role providing a service.
- Understanding of strategic sales and portfolio management.
- Must hold a current Australian driver’s licence.
- Similar B2B sales experience
