Job Description
In this role, you will be an important member of the Business Development team, responsible for supporting Business Development leaders in business analysis, partner account management, and growing internal and external partnerships that align to strategic growth objectives.
This position requires a hands-on, proactive, and highly engaged individual who will work across the organization to identify and recommend business improvement opportunities, drive partner acquisition opportunities, and enable business growth for the profitability of a market-leading Fortune 500 company.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner and Program Management
- Creation and implementation of relationship management strategies to successfully develop, manage, and nurture internal and external business partnerships on an ongoing basis
- Formalize business development efforts into a streamlined and repeatable Partner Playbook for the use of all BD team leaders
- Contribute to the alignment of new partner onboarding process
- Serve as a focal point of contact for key tactical or operational partner meetings
- Constructive communication and support for senior BD leaders
- Identify internal stakeholders and obtain support on project initiatives through proper articulation of project scope and goals
- Lead initial project organization and phases prior to assignment of PMO
- Create action plans, manage execution, and monitor project consistency through delivery
- Identify, track and manage/mitigate any project risks/issues
- Communicate plans objectives, progresses and critical issues internally (and externally as required)
- Leverage existing knowledge and previous experience to make inferences and assumptions on business needs ahead of requests
Business Analysis and Insights
- Preliminary and ongoing business analyses to support business case development and high-quality decision making to help solve problems
- Translation of analyses into meaningful insights and recommendations for creation of business cases, executive and partner presentations, and discussions with internal and external stakeholders
- Produce and distribute accurate, reoccurring and ad-hoc reports to senior management with insightful interpretation of data analysis trends and inferences on business decisions
To Succeed in this Role, we require:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Psychology, other related degree
- A minimum of 5 years of in sales, business development, client services, and partnership with "C" level
- Experience in managing large-scale partnership efforts
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Previous experience working with multiple stakeholders across functional areas within a business (e.g., Marketing, Product, Finance)
- Demonstrated ability to manage strategic business relationships with key partners
- Ability to analyze data and recognize patterns, self-discover reporting inaccuracies and ability to connect the dots and make business inferences
- Exquisite attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate sound analytical and critical thinking skills
- Talent to create reports and presentations that articulate a clear story
- Flexible attitude, self-motivated, and self-managed
- Willingness to participate in professional development activities; open to learning and taking guidance from senior team members
- Intellectual curiosity and the continuation of business knowledge growth through ongoing research of trends, competitive markets, and technology
- Ability to work through roadblocks independently
- Desire to grow within the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications specifically, Excel and PowerPoint
- In-person attendance with available partners, co-workers, and c-suite executives, when applicable
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualification:
- MBA or other advanced degree
- PMP Certification
- Industry knowledge pertinent to payroll, HR and the competitive landscape
- Previous experience in analyzing new business opportunities
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau to create dashboards, reports, and visual diagrams to provide insights and interpret data
