Department Overview
The Relationship Manager III services the needs of large/complex business portfolios, customizing a broad range of products and services to meet the financial needs of TD's customers. The job acquires, develops and manages commercial banking relationships by providing customized solutions across different commercial segments to build a strategy that is right for the customer now, and in the future with a focus on growing the portfolio by providing financial solutions and developing new business from both existing and new customers. The role is a trusted advisor who, with sensitivity to the customer's operating environment, structures and packages practical and competitive solutions that demonstrate an understanding of their financing, cash management and overall business needs to add value to the customer's portfolio.

Highly seasoned professional role requiring substantial expertise in a customer segment or product / service lineOriginates and monitors larger loans with moderate to complex credit needs and/or supports a growing Region or a Region with more complex relationships and transactionsAccountable for sales and / or delivery of solutions across business lines and segmentsRecommends best practices to improve products or services; integrates a deep understanding of target customer market and dynamicsAnticipates, identifies and interprets market trends, and applies this knowledge to serve the needs of the customersManages existing strategic accounts/opportunities that represent the business segments largest/most important accounts and/or takes a significant business development focusesSolves or may lead others to solve complex problems; leads efforts to develop new product and service solutions or structure complex dealsExecutes and may direct others in complex account management processes - structures sophisticated solutions and adviceImpacts a range of sales achievement for strategic accountsGuides and influences customers and stakeholders; converts information to compelling business context and advice at increasingly senior levelsWorks autonomously as the 'lead' and guides members within area of expertiseIdentifies and leads problem resolution for complex requirements related issues at all levels
