Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Senior Relationship Manager to develop deep client relationships and drive revenue growth for our Infomediaryยฎ Data Solutions (IDS) business. In this role you will have primary responsibility for identifying, developing and implementing long-term client management and new business strategies aimed at improving client operating models through the use of BBH's data management platform, data analytics tools, hosted SaaS technology applications, as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.

The Sr. Relationship Manager will serve as a senior member of a globally distributed team of relationship managers and/or client service managers who collaborate extensively across a globally distributed and virtual sales, product, and technology team to achieve actionable group and individual goals. You will be required to travel (~30-40% of the time) to help foster and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities of the Role

The Senior Relationship Manager will work directly with the IDS Technical Sales to:

Continually develop client relationships ensuring C-Level engagement, execution of client engagement plans and ensuring proactive management of relationship RAGs. Grow with clients in areas of shared value; creating customized relationship campaigns at the location and regional level and are progressing sales opportunities that align to margin and profitability goals. Ensure proactive management of client optimization and profitability. Optimizing the RM model to maximize effectiveness and focus on client engagement. Translating strategic business objectives into talent needs, now and in the future, to ensure RM has the diverse talent it needs when it needs it. Demonstrate and communicate the value of IDS technology throughout the sales cycle - from presales demos to client proof-of-concept projects to solution implementation Create and be accountable for all client pre-sales workflow assessments, due diligence requirements, and any other required technical documentation Collaborate closely with the appropriate BBH resources and colleagues to communicate client and market intelligence Build technical assets such as presentations, product sheets, technical diagrams, best practices documents, and virtual hands-on prototypes/simulations to accelerate the adoption of joint solutions Developing deep understanding of our clients' needs, budgets, decision making and competitive landscapes in order to deliver meaningful insights that accelerate new business outcomes Build training tools educate both clients and BBH client facing teams about client new concepts for client integrations and solutions

Skills and Experience

Successful candidates for this role will have:

Extensive relationship management experience with global asset managers and financial institutions, specifically in data, digital, technology product areas within financial services. Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies and the ability to work within a collaborative environment to achieve results. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts simply and clearly to clients, and superior presentation skills, with experience in leading product demonstrations to large and complex audiences

Educational and Training Requirements

8+ years of experience in sales, operations, and/or technology roles in the asset servicing or financial services digital/data/technology Undergraduate or graduate University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred Understanding of data applications, cloud architectures and services involving SaaS solutions with any of the popular cloud providers (i.e. Snowflake, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
