Relationship Manager (U.S.-based remote options available)

ActiGraph is an international leader in the development of validated medical-grade wearable solutions used to measure physical activity, sleep, and behavior patterns in the broader global academic and pharma research communities.
We are seeking a Relationship Manager/ Director for our key channel partners (CROs and Technology Vendors) in our Pharmaceuticals and Biotech target market. The person in this role will manage the business development relationship and pursue expansion of business with the assigned key partners. For ActiGraph, this is a specialized business relationship role and the aim for the person in this role will be to contribute to the Pharma Sales team sales achievement against targets that are designed to reach and surpass the overall revenue and growth goals for ActiGraph.
The successful candidate will be a well-organized self-starter and a team player with excellent communication skills and an ability to create and execute realistic account plans to grow the pipeline of opportunities we receive via the assigned partners and help the Pharma Sales team achieve the required sales growth.

The essential duties and responsibilities for this role include:
- Cultivate new business and develop market presence in the assigned partner accounts to achieve the sales quota.
- Effective lead generation through outreach and networking activities, as required to generate sales pipeline and close new business in the assigned accounts.
- Represent the Company at various industry trade shows and symposiums.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries about ActiGraph's available products and services, including managing the responses to RFIs and RFPs, within the Company's guidelines.
- Liaise effectively with colleagues across all ActiGraph departments to effectively develop business in the assigned partner accounts.
- Present the Company's products through on-line and/or on-site demonstrations and have the knowledge to answer questions about the demonstrated product and support services.
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with partners and clients and maintain them over time.
- Assist the Pharma Sales team to negotiate prices, terms of sales, and service agreements.
- Communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources via phone and email.
- Maintain accurate contemporaneous records (including in Salesforce CRM to enable accurate sales forecasting).
- Provide weekly sales pipeline status updates to the VP of Pharma Sales.
- Support onboarding and account maintenance activities, such as response to RFI's, vendor qualification or re-qualification, and contract updates.
- Participate in Account Governance meetings for assigned accounts.
- Guide partners into joining the Accelerant Partner program and serve as partner oversight for preferred partners once they have joined.
- Other duties required, as assigned.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will reside in Europe, preferably the United Kingdom, and have:
- Bachelor's Degree. (A degree in a relatable subject is preferred, e.g. life sciences, technology, computer science, engineering, business, marketing etc.)
- Relevant experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
- Experience of partner/ customer relationship management (e.g. sales, project management) in technology-enabled services for clinical trials.
- Industry specific selling or project management experience (technology and science services).
- Experience working with CROs is a plus.
- Experience of selling to the Pharmaceutical Industry or a Regulated Industry.
- Experience or knowledge of wearable devices or similar technology solutions utilized in the areas of actigraphy and analysis is a plus.
