Responsible for optimizing the flow of epics/features and the value delivered by a smaller Agile Release Train (ART). Coordinates and facilitates the ART ceremonies, manages dependencies across teams in the ART, and provides visibility into the health of epic/feature delivery and the overall program increment. Ensures impediments to epic/feature delivery are resolved quickly and protects the teams from outside disruptions to delivery. Manages financials for the ART and assist with resource planning. Helps define norms/agreements for the ART and enforces the agreements. Coordinates and facilitates ART ceremonies - e.g. Backlog Refinement, Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART Sync (or PO Sync, Scrum of Scrums), System Demos, Retrospective. In collaboration with the PM, ensures the program has a healthy product/program backlog. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the ART. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration within the ART to support value delivery and PI commitments. Responsible for providing status updates and reporting pertaining to ART plans/delivery/timelines/impediments to stakeholders and leadership. Ensures Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements for technology solutions are met for the epics/features delivered by the ART. Measures ART delivery, maturity, and performance and reviews the metrics with the ART to identify improvement opportunities. Captures data to help determine/track product funding and resource acquisition needs. Individual Contributor

Looking for a Release Train Engineer for managing several teams over many programs. This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of Deliverables/Epics/Stories and the value delivered by a complex/very large Agile Release Train (ART), and is focused on serving the needs of the train to drive performance and growth.

- Help define norms/agreements for the ART and enforce the agreements
- In collaboration with the Product Manager/Owner, ensures the program has a healthy product/program backlog. Facilitate dependency management/risk management /impediment removal for the ART
- Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the ART to support value delivery and PI commitments
- Responsible for providing status updates and reporting pertaining to ART plans/delivery/timelines/impediments to stakeholders and leadership

Required Skills:
- Experience leading technology projects
- Strong knowledge of Agile and CI/CD tools
- Has knowledge of software development and Quality Assurance Testing practices
- Has strong Project Management Skills
- Knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices
- Awareness/ ability to learn the architecture and design of the applications
- Ability to Identify risk/dependencies and quantifies the impact it has on the business/technology and what controls are to be used to resolve
- Facilitates collaboration within and across teams; across trains and across lines of business
- Experience leading large scale transformation programs, involving business process and change
- Experience delivering large scale IT solutions leveraging Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Strong knowledge of JIRA and basic knowledge of Confluence
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Desired Skills:
- SAFe RTE or SPC certification
