Main Responsibilities:
Improves overall data relevance and implements processes to improve data quality and collection.
Owns the development of asset performance improvement strategies
Provides continuous assessment of asset performance by supervising the asset register and related records
Lead and participate in root cause analyses (RCAs) for significant T&D equipment failures.
Supports development and updates to Asset Strategies for critical asset classes
Ensures accurate monitoring and reporting of T&D asset performance and metrics
Lead monitoring T&D operational performance against KPI targets based on industry standards and statistical analysis
Lead effort to develop any additional monitoring standards for T&D assets
Lead the development of processes, tools and strategy necessary to gain, analyze, monitor, trend, and report asset condition indicators
Participates in reliability strategy initiatives and improvement projects both internally and externally
Audit inspection and maintenance programs for compliance
Qualifications:
- Team player!
- Strong analytical skills, leadership, and communication skills
- Proficient presentation skills, diplomacy and facilitation skills covering large and small group forums ranging from technical to non-technical audiences at all levels of corporate hierarchy
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability and willingness to take initiative and champion process improvement
- Education - Four-year college degree in Engineering!
- Experience - 5 to 10 years
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others as well as operate with minimal direction
