This position covers 2 main areas of responsibility:

1. Reliability Manager - support the operations and maintenance of new battery materials processing equipment. This individual will develop maintenance strategies and establish the system for maintaining the mechanical integrity of the plant equipment.

2. Standards Manager - maintain the company's standards, deviation request process, and serve as the point of contact with Process Industry Practices (PIP) organization.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

-Lead the implementation and maintenance of the reliability maintenance strategy, incorporating mechanical integrity requirements from PSM program.

-Investigate equipment failure for root cause analysis and corrective action.

-Establish maintenance programs including: Vibration analysis, Corrosion Control, Lubrication Rounds, and other related programs.

-Assist with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) deployment and population.

-Develop and maintain a "bad actor" program to track downtime data for maintenance and capital project strategy. Includes developing Pareto Charts, Weibull Analysis or other similar reliability analysis tools.

-Facilitate Failure Modes Effects Analysis in order to develop maintenance plans and Strategies.

-Manage the company's standards for piping materials, instrumentation, insulation, electrical, etc. with revision control.

-Develop and maintain a deviation request process and historical records.

-Serve as the company representative to Process Industry Practices (PIP) Organization.

-Ensure all maintenance, inspection, repairs, re-rates, and alterations made to pressure equipment follow applicable laws, regulations, industry codes, company standards, and recommended practices.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering degree with relevant experience.

-5-10 years minimum experience in reliability and/or mechanical integrity.

-Detail-oriented and organized.

-Experience with creating, revising and following standards.

-Understanding of and experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and B31.3 Process Piping.

-Experience working within, or supporting OSHA PSM-regulated facilities or processes, and knowledge of how mechanical integrity program elements apply to fixed equipment.

OTHER QUALITIES WE'D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:

-Experience with PIP standards.

-Prior experience at both large and start-up companies.

-Experience in bulk solids handling and/or thermal processing equipment.

-Experience in chemical piping and process equipment.

-Experience managing the standards for a chemical or industrial manufacturing plant.

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
