Position Summary

Develop, implement, administer, and oversee processes and procedures supporting the oversight of compliance and monitoring of mandatory Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) and North American Electric (NERC) Reliability Standards. Assist in companywide preparation for external compliance evaluations and conduct of internal compliance evaluations. Engage with internal and industry stakeholder groups on topics related to standards and compliance policy matters. Lead activities relating to the evaluation and development of balloting positions for new or modified Standards. Administer processes to manage scheduling and tracking of internal compliance spot checks, reviews, and internal controls. Maintain processes and procedures owned by compliance program relating to relationships between functional units and other entities within the company.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Administer compliance program processes associated with the monitoring, governance and oversight of internal NERC and TSA compliance activities. Track and monitor progress of internal and external regulatory commitments and ensure quality and timely completion of deliverables
  • Coordinate internal compliance reviews, assessments, and spot checks to evaluate compliance with mandatory NERC and TSA regulations.
  • Review documentation and evidence prepared by functional units for submission to regulatory agencies and coordinate with personnel as needed to ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and accurate. Ensure documentation is submitted timely and accurately and a manner consistent with requirements of NERC, TSA, and regional entities.
  • Coordinate internal activities associated with implementation of mandatory reliability standards. Ensure timely and accurate communication of pending and actual regulatory approvals to appropriate parties. Monitor the development of implementation plans and milestones reviewing for completeness and sufficiency. Track implementation activities to ensure timely compliance.
  • Attend regulator and industry stakeholder meetings as needed. Represent company interests and ensure timely and comprehensive communication of relevant information to internal stakeholders
  • Monitor and track program internal controls and compliance program documentation. Work with functional unit personnel to maintain internal controls documentation prepare documentation for audits and investigations.
  • Maintain compliance program data current and accurate within the eGRC system. Maintain a high level of proficiency with eGRC solutions supporting the compliance programs. Create, develop, and manage eGRC dashboards and reports for business area use. 5

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science or equivalent experience.
  • At least six years related experience with NERC compliance, auditing or working in a regulated environment
  • Strong computer skills and ability to manage voluminous data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FERC, NERC, TSA Regulatory frameworks
  • Experience in a Regulatory or Audit role or environment Internal Controls and Causal Analysis experience a plus

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $79,000.00 to $112,999.00 per year
