Reliability Engineer

As Maintenance Lead, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of plant maintenance & reliability programs to ensure continuous achievement of production and quality goals. Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and joint accountability with the production units, recognizing mutual goals, accountabilities, and needs as well as build consensus in a positive manner with customers and team members.
• Quality of work completed by the crafts as well as the creation and safe execution of the Maintenance Schedule
• Develop and improve skill sets of internal craft resources
• Oversee maintenance contractors working in the unit.
• Reviewing all completed work orders for completeness and craft feedback as well as possible improvements in repair techniques, materials of construction, or other activities
• Lead efforts to ensure continuous improvement in production reliability. Identify and implement creative, innovative technological solutions.
• Develop and implement measurement criteria to assess the effectiveness of maintenance & reliability programs and cost containment goals.

• Monitor the equipment spare parts data accurately and completely.
• Assist in providing reports for work history, costs, etc.
• Coordinate unit maintenance & reliability activities by participating in planning meetings to ensure open communications while supporting unit and plant production goals.
• Work closely with Operations in developing and implementing Winston-Salem's strategies that ensure the success of the Plant. Ensure effective coordination and communication with all departments regarding maintenance work.

The Maintenance & Reliability Lead position is well-suited for you if you have:

• Ability to manage a manufacturing environment, including capability to perform effectively in high stress, emergency and crisis situations.
• Ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships.
• Ability to communicate across functional lines and at all levels.
• Ability to learn and apply Ingredion's GMP, Quality and Safety standards.
• Working knowledge of predictive maintenance technology (Vibration, Oil, and Infrared, UE, MCA, and NDT).

Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in technical, Engineering or Management or significant work experience (5-7 years).
• Knowledge of CMMS (SAP preferred) system as it pertains to maintenance and operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in setting priorities and executing multiple assignments in a timely manner.
• Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or other similar process.
• Knowledge of Corn Wet Milling Manufacturing operations, processes and customer base.
• Ability to take off-hour calls and rotate on call accountability with maintenance staff as necessary.
• Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel etc
