As a Reliability Engineer, you will add expertise to enable Trane Technologies to understand the life cycle of our components and work with cross functional teams to ensure we reduce risk and provide guidance on design and validation testing.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in an engineering or related field
  • 3+ year of engineering related work experience is required
  • A degree or certificate in Reliability Engineering preferred
  • Master's of Science degree in an engineering or related field preferred
  • American Society of Quality, Certified Reliability Engineer preferred
  • Knowledge of Reliasoft products, Minitab, Microsoft Office including Access, Alteryx, Tableau preferred

Responsibilities
  • Utilize reliability statistics to identify trends and provide a clear synopsis of risk
  • Determine root cause physics of failure and provide recommend corrective actions
  • Use warranty data, and cross functional input to develop product requirements
  • Provide facilitation for DFMEA and DVPR activities
  • Develop Accelerated Life Test plans to meet project deliverables
  • Provide reliability plans and lead FRACAS efforts for New Product Development projects
  • Participate in technical design reviews to assess project status and design readiness
  • Document and present results and insights through formal reports and reviews
  • Lead, mentor, and train others in reliability methods


Base Compensation Range is $63,000 to $133,000

Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
