As a Systems Test engineer you will have the responsibility to demonstrate the reliability of X-Ray generation Products. Activities include

development/procuring new test equipment, executing system design verification and System Integration.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Focus on the dependability in the lifecycle management of a X-ray generation products. Identify and assess the ability of the components to function under stated conditions for a specified time or interval of time. Rolls up the individual reliability to the system level, including systems modeling. Includes estimation, prevention modeling and management of high levels of "lifetime" engineering uncertainty and risks of failure.
  • Provides domain expertise to serve as the main integrator between the hardware and software functions to deliver the best high-quality product.'
  • Support Engineering lab, with executing troubleshooting activities to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions.
  • Define Test protocol to demonstrate product life cycle.
  • Develop Test methods to quantify subsystem interactions and their effects on image quality
  • Identify and deploy breakthrough technologies that can be leveraged to reduce lead time, improve quality, or reduce cost.
  • Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering or related technical degree and 3 years' experience or Associate Degree and 5 years' experience or High School diploma with 7 years of experience in production, engineering or troubleshooting.
  • Must be able to work onsite daily out of our W. Milwaukee, WI location.

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge of reliability Theory. Including past use of Weibull.
  • 2 years of experience developing equipment hardware and/or controls.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and electronic schematics.
  • Hands on experience using Java, LabView or Python for integrations.
  • Familiar with integrated control schemes with PLCs, HMI and Drives.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization.
  • Displays strong interpersonal skills, is accessible and approachable.
