Job Description:

How you'll make your mark:

• Work within the Artificial Intelligence/Analytics/At-Scale team developing the powerful visualizations and production ready UI/UX design for applications.
• You are passionate about all things in the front end space and are looking for a challenge. You like to design, implement and own the UI/UX stack to surface complex visualizations that allows exploratory interactions.

• Collaborate with the team to prototype, develop, and deliver high-quality, performant and testable UI software that can be deployed consistently.
• You are consistent, can quickly learn about complex systems, and follow best practices for UI software development.
• You love problem solving, like to roll up your sleeves to troubleshoot and debug UI frameworks, promote improvements in programming practices such as acceptance test driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery

About you:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of work experience building tools/develop and creating visualization libraries.
• Required: 1+ years of experience using visualization libraries such as d3js/vega/plotly
• Required: 2+ years of experience using design frameworks such as Grommet, Material Design

• Required: 2+ years of experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular/React/Vue
• Required: 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, CSS pre-processors (SASS, LESS etc.)
• Highly desired: front-end development utilizing industry standard design-patterns
• Highly desired: familiarity with advanced web technologies (WASM, Webpack, NextJS)
• Highly desired: familiarity with developing highly interactive data-driven web-interfaces

• Desired: familiarity with REST, GraphQL, Websocket APIs for client-server interaction
• Desired: a design portfolio that showcases your work
• Desired: experience with large-scale high-performance systems
• Role can be remote.
