As Senior Professional Programmer Analyst you will collaborate with one of our largest Insurance customers. You will be involved on requirements gathering, designing, development, testing, maintenance, version upgrades, conversions, and migrations

We expect you to take ownership of your role, providing your expertise on processes improvement and best practices implementation, sharing your knowledge and ideas with the rest of the team.

You will be the face of DXC in front of our customer, and we trust that you will perform a great job understanding the customer needs to deliver robust, clean, and scalable solutions.

Job Functions

• You will be responsible for developing interfaces of multiple systems with wmA. The required skill sets are programming in Mainframe COBOL, JCL.
• This role involves requirements gathering and analyzing, documentation, planning, investigation, development, testing follow up and maintenance.
• As well as understand and analyze user and business needs; to make sure outcomes are aligned with vision and business strategy by contributing to the link between current and future business models.
• Sharing your knowledge with less experienced team members.

Qualifications

• Experience with Life Insurance Annuity Platforms such as wmA/Vantage-One.
• Experience with Mainframe (COBOL and JCL Microfocus).
• Experience with System Migrations and Integrations.

• Ability to understand the business and customer needs and act in the proper time and manner, keeping in mind our values, culture, and goals as a company, as well as your own professional ethics.
• Strong analytical aptitude, an ability to structure complex or undefined business problems.
• Decomposition of high-level information into details business requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $72,600 - $109,000.
