JOB DESCRIPTION

What does an IT Project Manager do at Green Dot?

You will be responsible for core project management tasks while incorporating partner-facing planning efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects or partner implementations from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation

• Coordinate both internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget

• Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met

• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes

• Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks

• Develop and maintain partnerships with internal business and product teams, third-party resources, including external vendors and partners.

• Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables

• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience

• Experience in working with technology and business teams.

• Knowledge of SDLC processes is required.

• Fintech and/or banking/credit card industry knowledge a plus.

• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

• Proven success working with all levels of management

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent presentation skills

PAY RANGE

The targeted base salary for this position is $95,000 to $145,200 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
