Remote Mobile Application Developer (Xamarin)

A Mobile Application Developer job is available through Modis. This is a 100% remote contract position that requires 4 or more years of Xamarin experience building cross platform mobile applications. Must have solid experience in C# coding and working with Restful API's.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain cross-platform (iOS and Android) mobile apps for phones and tablets

Work with tech leads, developers, designers, and other team members

Analyze user needs and develop software solutions

Work with the project manager or product owner to meet specification needs

Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code

Track all programming tasks and procedures in ADO, Jira, or other PM software

Qualifications:

4 years of experience with Xamarin

Must be proficient in C#

Must have experience with consuming RESTful APIs, network calls, caching, on-device database (SQLite3), etc.

Ability to work well in a team or independently

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills- Knowledge of native iOS and Android inner workings is a major plus
