What do we need?

We are seeking a Partner & Payer Relations Coordinator for our growing healthcare revenue recovery company. This position will serve as a key member of the team responsible for supporting the efforts of Partner & Payer Relations Managers and Director in maintaining and enhancing relationships with its clients and payers. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks and reviews to ensure appropriateness and accuracy of inventory, assisting with generating and reviewing internal & external reports, assisting with payer escalation spreadsheets, reviewing client systems for updates, noting accounts in Collect as indicated based on processes, and communicate trends and opportunities to Partner & Payer Relation Managers for follow-up.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Operations and all other departments
  • Assist with creating escalation spreadsheets for payers
  • Assist with noting accounts with Provider Rep responses as requested
  • Assist with creating rebill spreadsheets including review of client systems to confirm completion and route account as needed for follow-up.
  • Assist with reconciliation processes as requested
  • Assist with payment reviews as requested
  • Assist with updating data for EOM reports as requested
  • Review client and payer portal accesses and follow-up with Operations and/or Payer & Partner Relations Manager on access requests
  • Assist with New Business Templates and uploading client notes as requested
  • Complete New Acknowledgement and Closure Reports
  • Create and analyze external hospital specific reports and internal reports
  • Document and maintain hospital processes
  • Maintain a professional and HIPAA compliant work area
  • Comply with HIPAA protocols and procedures
  • Obtain/create supplementary documents to assist in understanding hospital system, etc.
  • Develop, document, and maintain quality standards that support company objectives and client expectations.
  • Evaluate global opportunities presented by a client or department to determine and locate any weaknesses or opportunities in the procedures/process.
  • Provide professional work product
  • Assist with account follow up and hospital system, as requested
  • Participate in team and department meetings
  • Assist with documenting meeting minutes as requested
  • Assist with projects as assigned
  • Assist in maintaining current information on the Intranet
  • Utilize resources to enhance performance

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a non-exempt, hourly position: Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but from time to time may require additional hours to successfully perform essential and secondary responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience with company as a Denial Resolution Specialist (DRS 2 or higher), Management or comparative level position.
  • Must have strong written and verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work in teams and manage time and projects.
  • Detail-oriented, with good problem solving and research skills
  • Understand the importance and benefits of data quality
  • Able to work independently
  • Must be able to interact, collaborate, and communicate effectively with both Advicare staff and clients at every level of an organization
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and quality standards
  • Must have a high-level knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Must have excellent analytical skills
