Position Overview

Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer who's ready to help us improve our customer experience by building functional systems that bring our business to new heights. Our group handles building a modern cloud deployment platform on top of AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. We strive to build systems that enable our users to quickly deploy reliable applications to production. You will help build our evolving cloud deployment platform.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, debug and document new features in our Python-based Deployment process
• Support feature engineers using our team's deployment platform
• Help build scalable and reliable Kubernetes clusters
• Help to define new features that improve the deployment and production experience of our users
• Collaborate with other engineers to define and execute projects
• Participate in low burden OnCall rotation
• Write great technical documentation

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of application development experience (Java/python/go etc).
• 3+ years of API Development
• 3+ years scripting languages like bash and python
• 2+ years AWS, Linux-based infrastructures, and Linux/Unix administration
• 3+ years experience creating and maintaining documentation and troubleshooting run books
• 2+ years experience with modern cloud deployment technologies like Kubernetes and Spinnaker

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $109,400 and $188,760. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
