What does a Senior Manager, Partner Oversight do at Green Dot?
The Sr. Manager, ERM Partner Oversight will be part of the Enterprise Risk Management Team responsible for ensuring adherence with regulatory guidance and executive management’s commitment to maintain a high standard of compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as overall sound risk management. This individual is expected to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organization and the partner to execute a risk-based approach to identifying, measuring, and managing the various types of risk exposure related to the engagement. The position serves as a second line of defense liaison by ensuring a collaborative and effective communication channel between ERM and the critical partner. Participates in strategy discussions and provides input to promote an environment of risk awareness and risk ownership across the first line of defense and this critical partner.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute ERM Program key activities (risk assessments, Key Risk Indicators, Issues, etc.) for a critical partnership;
- Develop collaborative and risk aware relationships with partner leadership, internal leadership, SMEs, and other stakeholders;
- Execute and support the risk assessment process, create centralized risk and control libraries, and facilitate escalation processes;
- Implement and oversee the Key Risk Indicators of the partnership, including reporting any breaches of tolerances to applicable members of leadership, internal and external;
- Propose and implement ERM Program enhancements related to frameworks (e.g. Risk Governance, Issue Management, Change Management), standards, procedures, and tooling;
- Support the execution of strategic projects for the ERM team and oversee strategic initiatives related to this partnership;
- Support the Enterprise Risk Management Committee and escalate critical partner risks as appropriate for committee awareness;
- Facilitate emerging risk program, including supporting desktop exercises to scope the size of the impact on the partner or organization; and
- Develop relevant risk management system of record training for the partner;
- Support the partner’s resiliency program by facilitating and analyzing core elements of a Business Continuity Program (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR).

Required:Â
- 8+ years of experience supporting regulatory, risk, digital transformation, and technology implementations or second line of defense experience within Compliance, ERM, TPRM, or BSA/AML within a financial institution;
- Strong understanding of the various risk disciplines, particularly of operational, compliance, third-party, BSA/AML, and Information Technology;
- Strong committee experience including, managing, coordinating, and/or executing meetings
- Ability to identify, assess, monitor, and escalate risks impacting the lines of business;
- Ability to support multiple initiatives and balance resources and time concurrently to meet iterative requirements and changing priorities;
- Organized, independent, and self-motivated with a team player attitude;
- Excellent project and program planning skills;
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of leadership;
- Ability to collaborate with others to get work done through influence and prioritization;
- Proactive work style used to consistently communicate project status, issues and completion plans;
- Ability to identify issues, determine potential solutions, and communicate in a succinct way; and
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Visio

PAY RANGE
The targeted base salary for this position is $106,600 to $162,800 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
