This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a SIOP Data and Model Specialist - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing supply chain processes by bridging technical implementations and supply chain expertise. Your work will significantly impact forecasting accuracy and inventory modeling, while collaborating with various stakeholders to establish data governance and planning frameworks. You will lead the transition from traditional spreadsheets to innovative, policy-driven processes, ensuring that operational effectiveness is prioritized and metrics are met. Accountabilities

  • Approve/deny changes to planning templates and dbt models.
  • Lead migration from Excel to governed dbt frameworks in Snowflake.
  • Own integrations with NetSuite and Salesforce.
  • Build and manage dbt sandbox for scenario analysis.
  • Train planners and establish certification for template/dbt usage.
  • Standardize master data for SIOP with Product Data Integrity.
  • Collaborate with analytics engineers to develop forecast models.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field (MS preferred).
  • 6–10+ years experience in planning science, particularly in forecasting and inventory optimization.
  • Proficient in SQL and dbt, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with product ownership of analytics/plan platforms.
  • Demonstrated change leadership with measurable FVA.
  • Experience in cross-functional process improvement teams.
