As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will work as part of a world class team deploying and supporting innovative software to transform clinical research. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions: you will be involved from project startup to determine deployment requirements, research of required technology, designing/generating a plan/architecture for deploying various tools and technologies needed, implementing the plan, and then supporting it as these new tools and architecture get deployed to major clients.

Your day to day:
- Work in technical teams to understand their needs for deploying and maintaining various software solutions
- Propose a process in support of deployment requirements
- Implement various testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure required by software solutions
- Set up tools and required infrastructure to support a number of different projects and their associated technologies
- Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
- Monitor the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and update or create new processes for improvement and minimize wastage
- Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible
- Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Incidence management and root cause analysis
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- Select, configure, and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools
- Research and utilize new technologies
- Collaborate with the IT team to setup and configure various servers and services required
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to other team members
- Ensure compliance with eClinical Solutions and industry quality standards, regulations, guidelines, and procedures
- Manage multiple timelines and deliverables
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of working in a Dev Ops role on several different cloud-based software projects/products preferred
- BS degree in STEM, with focus as an IT generalist having broad knowledge of development and operations, including system administration, infrastructure management, coding, and DevOps toolchains preferred
- Demonstrated experience using Amazon AWS technologies including EC2, Fargate, Lambda, CloudWatch
- Automation mindset and skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to observe infrastructure performance, monitoring, and configuration
- Experience with containers and orchestration
- Some experience using AWS CodePipeline, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeStart, CodeArtifect and CodeDeploy services
- Experience with Microsoft technology stack including MS Windows Server, Visual Studio, C#, SQL Server
- Experience configuring and managing SQL server databases
- Knowledge of using Infrastructure as Code such as CloudFormation or Terraform
- Experience with build and deployment tools such as TeamCity and Octopus Deploy
- Experience deploying analytics solutions at scale in various leading analytics platforms
- Experience using Git/Bitbucket, Docker
- Strong skills in several scripting languages such as MS PowerShell, Python or Perl
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Team player and collaborator
- Strong communication skills and can explain sophisticated concepts to people outside the field
- Attitude for purpose-driven learning to solve business problems driving business value
- Demonstrates independence and project ownership
- Experience in ML Ops is a plus
- Knowledge of AWS SageMaker is a plus
- Experience with RStudio on Amazon SageMaker is a plus
- Knowledge of using Infrastructure as Code such as CloudFormation is a plus
- Experience with Linux Operating System is a plus
- Experience with Qlik/Qlik Sense Analytics platform is a plus
- Prior experience as a software developer is a plus
- Experience working as a Dev Ops Engineer in a highly regulated environment
- Knowledge of clinical trials processes is a plus
- Experience with AppDynamics or other APM tool is a plus
