What You'll Be Doing in the role of Sr. Manager Employee Engagement

The Senior Manager of Employee Engagement and Workplace Fundraising Campaigns will oversee the development and implementation of a set of strategies and tactics for engaging supporters in and through their workplaces. The Sr. Manager will lead the Employee Engagement Advisory Group, as our corporate partners input on the creation and roll-out of a set of workplace-based, turnkey campaigns, programs and initiatives designed to engage their employees in our mission and convert them into supporters of and donors to Susan G. Komen. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for increasing employee-driven revenue through workplace giving, matching programs, employee fundraising programs and alignment with corporate purpose consumer programs.

What You Will Bring to the Table

The primary objective of the Sr. Manager Employee Engagement and Workplace Fundraising Campaigns is to drive revenue to support Susan G. Komen in achieving our vision of a world without breast cancer through employee engagement and workplace fundraising.

Develop a year-round engagement strategy to be deployed in a workplace environment, introducing Susan G. Komen's vision and mission, providing employee-centric resources for breast health, volunteerism opportunities and fundraising campaigns.

Partner with internal departments to establish a set of meaningful, breast health education, volunteer opportunities, through which a wide range of employees can make an impact in the movement to end breast cancer.

Design a set of turnkey fundraising and giving campaigns or programs designed to be deployed in a workplace environment.

Coordinate internal and external advisory groups to ensure program design is constituent centric and set-up for nationwide execution.

Working closely with the Komen Corporate Partnerships and Community Development teams, promote employee engagement opportunities externally to current and potential partners and build a pipeline of new workplace fundraisers. Identify and evolve effective fundraising tools to enable growth in giving by employees at work. Ensure effective relationship management.

Collaborate with the MORE THAN PINK Walk, Race for the Cure, and 3-Day Walk teams to promote the National Corporate Team program and experience.

Represent Susan G. Komen in building relationships with leaders in major corporations to drive engagement and fundraising from their employees.

Set the organizational strategy for effective engagement with the Combined Health Charities (CHC) and Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) payroll deduction Be the liaison to the CHC and CFC and participate on the Charity Leadership Council.

Partner with the internal Komen Operations team to build relationships with other third-party payroll, employee giving and matching gifts providers to develop strategy to grow revenue.

Develop and execute annual calendar for employee-driven micro campaigns to grow employee fundraising.

Lead the @register and @work programs to grow fundraising through employees and customers.

Identify and evolve technology solutions to engage current and new constituent audiences to grow fundraising.

Partner with Engineering and Operations teams, on ongoing assessments of current technology platform, improvements, testing other options or a migration to another platform.

Create resources, trainings, and tools to support staff and employers.

Execute on the revenue targets and KPIs for each program to demonstrate growth and ROI within the employee engagement and workplace fundraising channels.

Provide clear communication, strategic guidance, standards and best practices and ongoing partnership to the National Corporate Partnerships Team and the local Community Development teams related to the Employee Engagement and Workplace fundraising programs.

We Already Know You Will Also Have

7 years of experience in innovative fundraising at a nationwide nonprofit.

3 -5 years of progressive responsibility within a Workplace Fundraising or Employee Engagement program, generating at least $20M revenue annually.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but successful track record of successfully growing a similar revenue program is more important.

Strong working knowledge of employee engagement and workplace fundraising strategies, best practices, and systems.

Experience as a hands-on leader, willing to roll up their sleeves and build programs in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

Professional, mature communication style and the ability to interact with corporate partners, executives, leadership volunteers, board members, high value donors.

Demonstrated ability to engage others in the achievement of revenue goals.

Excellent planning, organizational and follow-up skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Understanding of fundraising technology solutions.

Experience with payroll deduction programs.

Experience with nationwide volunteerism programs.

Nationwide fundraising program design experience.
