As a Remote Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers and clients remotely, ensuring efficient resolution of IT-related issues.
Your role:
- The Remote Support Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations for clients, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maintaining the reputation of the company as a reliable technical service provider.
- You will be part of the EMR & CM S&SD team within the Support business function, collaborating with other support engineers, technicians, and possibly developers. Additionally, you will interact with customers, clients, and internal stakeholders to address their technical concerns effectively.
- Within this role, you will have the chance to enhance your technical skills, problem-solving abilities, domain expertise and communication skills. Opportunities for personal growth and career advancement are offered, and hybrid working arrangements may be available to provide flexibility.
You're the right fit if:
- You have prior experience in providing remote technical support to customers, ideally in a Healthcare IT support or similar role.
- You possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, coupled with a deep understanding of various operating systems, software applications, and networking protocols.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if you have relevant work experience.
- Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members, along with a customer-centric approach, will contribute to your success in this role. You should be willing to work in shift and 24x7 model in a high-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) will be advantageous but not essential. Candidates with prior experience of supporting IntelliSpace Critical Care & Anesthesia is preferred.

Philips Transparency Details:
The pay range for this position is $53,040 to $97,920, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
