JOB DESCRIPTION

What does a Sr. Technical Project Manager do at Green Dot? 

You will oversee the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a variety of projects and initiatives. You’ll play the critical role of implementing key initiatives for both our business and technology organizations. You may work with both internal and external partners and will engage with team members across the US and other international locations.

As a Sr. Technical Project Manager, you can look forward to: 

• Leading projects for key partner from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation 

• Coordinating both internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget 

• Analyzing project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met 

• Establishing and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes 

• Establishing and maintaining processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing/mitigating risks 

• Developing and maintaining partnerships with internal business and product teams, third-party resources, including external vendors and partners. 

• Assigning and monitoring resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables 

• Reporting project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan 

You might be the right match for this role if you:  

Have at least 8 years of project management experience. You have experience working with partners as well as technology and business teams. You have strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines. You have proven success working with all levels of management and have excellent presentation skills.

• Minimum 8+ years of project management experience 

• Partner facing experience

• Experience in working with technology and business teams

• Knowledge of SDLC processes

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, demonstrable experience 

Preferred: 

• Fintech and/or banking/credit card industry knowledge a plus.

PAY RANGE

The targeted base salary for this position is $112,100 to $171,300 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
