About Pillser

Pillser is a privately funded healthcare startup leveraging AI to help individuals make informed decisions about supplements and nutrition. We're the only platform offering ingredient-level information for all commercially available supplements combining this with our research database to provide personalized recommendations.

About the Role

We're seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our small passionate team of researchers and engineers. This is a full-time remote position with occasional in-person meetings.

As our designer you'll work closely with the founding team to iterate on our existing design improve user experience and drive conversion rates. You'll play a crucial role in shaping our product and making accurate healthcare information more accessible and affordable.

Key Responsibilities


Immediate Projects

  • Pillser health card: Personalized recommendations based on user profiles (part of https://pillser.com/ask )
  • Supplement diary: Logging and tracking supplement intake and health goals (new product)
  • Pillser stack exchange: User-shared supplement stacks with reward system (new product)

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • 2-3 years of UI/UX design experience
  • Proven experience designing e-commerce websites
  • Proficiency in Figma for prototyping and design
  • Strong understanding of design systems
  • Experience collaborating with React developers
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in healthcare or nutrition-related projects
  • Familiarity with AI and its ethical implications in healthcare
  • Basic understanding of front-end development

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $90K - $130K (based on experience)
  • Equity: 1% - 2% (4-year vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff)
