We are looking for an experienced and client focused Workday Leadwith expertise in Workday Payroll to join our team. As a Workday Lead, you will play a critical role in implementing and optimizing Workday Payroll solutions for our clients. Your consulting experience, in-depth knowledge of Workday Payroll functionality, and client relationship management skills will contribute to the success of our projects. In addition to your client facing role, you will play a critical role in developing our go-to market strategy, creating innovative solutions for our clients from strategy to execution. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their payroll requirements and translate them into effective Workday Payroll solutions.
- Configure and implement Workday Payroll modules, including payroll setup, calculations, taxation, payroll deductions, and reporting.
- Lead workshops and gather business requirements, process flows, and system design documentation related to payroll.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify areas of customization and develop solutions to address client-specific payroll requirements.
- Advise clients on best practices for Workday Payroll implementation and provide recommendations for system optimization.
- Design and build Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to meet client payroll reporting needs.
- Collaborate with technical resources for integrations with other systems, data conversion, and testing related to payroll processes.
- Assist in defining testing strategies, creating test scripts, and conducting system testing for Workday Payroll functionality.
- Provide end-user training on Workday Payroll functionality and assist with change management activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the implementation and post-implementation phases related to payroll.
- Stay updated on the latest Workday releases, features, and functionality, and share knowledge with the team.
- Collaborating with Cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrations between payroll and other departments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, tools, and methodologies related to Workday Payroll.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including participating in demos, proposals, and client presentations related to payroll.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong functional understanding of payroll processing and regulations
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Workday consultant, with a focus on Workday Payroll implementations.
- Workday Payroll, Security, report writing, integration using EIB, Core Connectors and Studio certification(s) demonstrating expertise in Workday Payroll functionality or ability to obtain and retain appropriate certifications.
- Consulting background with experience working for a consulting firm or in a client-facing role.
- Experience with data conversion and migration in Workday Payroll.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex payroll requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively manage client relationships.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. Compensation Range for this position: $100,000-$140,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
