Job Description

The Renewal Manager is a high-impact position responsible for owning and executing renewals for customers of Agility. The ideal Renewal Manager is an experienced professional with a full understanding of sales contracting. They will resolve a wide range of challenges in creative ways. They are responsible for managing the Renewal Team to proactively extend customer contracts, shift customer spend towards highly valued services when appropriate, implement annual price increase strategy, lock in favorable terms with customers, and manage downgrades and cancellations.
The Renewal Manager is responsible for ensuring maximum financial results for Agility while strengthening partnerships with existing customers. The Renewal Manager will create strong working relationships with Account Executives, and other internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention while showcasing data-driven process management and reporting to executive leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • People Management responsibilities
  • Achieve financial and strategic revenue targets
  • Own and execute win/win negotiation strategies for renewals that maximize contract value and extending term length, when possible, while protecting and enhancing customer trust and satisfaction
  • Accurately maintain a rolling forecast and communicate any renewal risk to internal resources to develop resolution strategies
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, and Finance to develop strategies for upcoming renewals
  • Follow and adhere to best practices for all internal processes including, Opportunity Management, Data Quality & Accuracy, CRM Hygiene, Quotes and Forecasting
  • Evaluate your portfolio to prioritize time to render the most favorable outcomes
  • Leverage customer data and behavior to assess the health of each renewal

Required Competencies:
  • 3+ combined years of experience in sales, account management, customer success, or other customer-facing roles
  • Strong negotiation and process management skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a customer-first mindset while keeping the best interest of Agility intact
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with customers
  • High attention to detail to ensure clear communication to all stakeholders and accurate proposals that reflect the appropriate solutions and pricing
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and ownership to be responsive to sales and customer requests
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the drive to find answers to complex problems, even when an answer is not obvious
  • High competency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel as well as other business tools, i.e. Salesforce

Compensation
$80k-100k Base ($125k-145k OTE Potential)
