Renewal Manager
Job Description
monday.com is looking for a talented Renewal Manager who will engage with our customers throughout the year to transact and maintain on-time renewals, cross-sell/upsell within customer base, and focus on customer retention.
You’ll be a key and valued member of our Customer Success team and join a global Renewals Team.
The Renewal Manager will be expected to drive continuous improvement of the playbooks and processes while collaborating with multiple teams in the organization.
About The Role:
- Drive and own the renewal processes in collaboration from reach out and negotiation to confirmation.
- Work closely with the Customer Success, Finance, and Sales teams to retain customer contracts, secure renewal and support the accounts’ growth.
- Negotiate renewal terms to align with the customer and the company goals
- Maintain a rolling 90-day renewal forecast by segment and/or territory
- Proactively build and identify opportunity signals and generate expansion opportunities (up-sell, add-on, cross-sell, etc.).
- Enhance the renewals process playbook to maximize account and ARR retention
- Handle escalations relating to contract questions, negotiations, and requests
- Identify Process gaps to improve efficiency
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of B2B sales, account management or customer success experience
- Proven experience as the owner of the full renewal cycle, from identifying expansion opportunities to negotiation and contracting
- Effective communicator, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English - writing and spoken
- Motivated, driven and results-oriented
- Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, energetic team player
Experience within the following is an advantage:
- Experience in working closely with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, legal, cs) in order to reach primary goals
- Reporting a rolling 90-day renewal forecast by segment and/or territory
- Proactively build and identify opportunity signals and generate expansion opportunities (up-sell, add-on, cross-sell, etc.).
- Handling escalations relating to contract questions, negotiations, and requests
- Approaches work with empathy and a creative, problem-solving mindset
