Position Overview
The Renewal Sales Support is a key role that directly interfaces with Territory and Strategic Territory accounts. This role is responsible for providing support to sales efforts and work closely with our Channel Partners, internal sales reps/product specialists, back-office and other support groups on a global basis. Effectively supporting renewal programs and various sales teams by assisting with certain administrative sales activities to drive business.
Responsibilities
Sales Support - Drive Results:
- Assist in producing customer or partner facing information / documentation used for presenting renewal/sales related findings and data to assist in closing opportunities
- Answer inquiries from customers, ADSK employees, and Channel partners on supported programs/activities and may route opportunities or leads to the appropriate channels for investigation and research
- Interface with ADSK sales, marketing, legal, finance, operations, GCSO, EIS or third-party vendors on issues affecting the day-to-day business as well as process improvements
- Assist in developing methodologies for determining recipients for sales efforts, marketing campaigns or training initiatives
- Interact with salesforce.com and other ADSK systems to track opportunities or cases and create various reports to monitor team and sales metrics
- Create, maintain, and distribute program documentation, communications & training materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Compares, reviews, and researches records within a database. Performs extensive analysis/research on data and applies rules to each record. Updates the record and coordinates inputs with team members
- Responds to and supports various renewals/sales teams by assisting with certain administrative sales activities to drive business
- Daily contact with end user prospects, partners and internal Autodesk Sales and Support teams using various forms of communication including case management
- (May)Assist on customer calls to review audit findings, explain documentation, and answer questions on analysis findings
- (May) reinforce program policy and help create strategy for achieving consistency and scalability
Develops Accounts:
- Develops important and effective relationships within the account including IT Manager, Contract Manager, Purchasing Manager, translates customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value, ensures the Autodesk team delivers Business Value to the Account(s)
Executes Strong Business Practices:
- Provides timely, accurate and detailed updates on quarterly business, effectively leverages chosen sales processes, tools and methodologies, provides effective internal information as requested (i.e. Ops reviews, customer info)
Minimum Qualifications
- 0-2 years in Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service and/or Business Development
- Strong communication skills: Customer facing, ability to work/communicate cross functionally
- Proven ability to manage opportunities and initiate activities that will drive sales
- Self-motivator
- Proficient to skilled with Salesforce.com
- BS Business Management, Marketing
Target Pay for this Position (Colorado): $50,000 - $60,000
