Department overview

The OPIS Sales Operations Team is responsible for building, maintaining, and analyzing reports critical to the operations of the OPIS sales team. The Renewal Support Specialist will report to the OPIS - Renewal Support Manager. The role sits within the Sales Operations Team which interacts with the entire sales organization and is responsible for enhancing the overall operating efficiency and excellence of the sales function.

Overview of Position

The Renewal Support Specialist will assist the sales teams with contract renewals. This includes obtaining price and discount approvals, creating, and sending contracts for signature, and follow-up. A successful candidate will be a self-starter with a keen eye for detail, asks questions to clarify understanding, and has a desire to ensure data is correct. They will work closely with other members of the sales team, legal team, product team, and finance team.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for providing support on the renewals process for Sales teams, including Sales Management
  • Able to discuss and explain contractual guidelines of OPIS products with account managers, finance, product managers, sales leadership, product delivery and sales operations in an accurate and organized manner
  • Assist in the prepararation and distribution of renewal contracts
  • Process signed renewal contracts in Netsuite system
  • Process product or service cancellations
  • Maintain and meet all contracts requested by the account manager on behalf of the client

You Have:

  • Sales Support experience
  • Proficient in supporting and processing contracts
  • 5+ years experience with sales support, contract renewals, customer service, or similar function
  • Applied working knowledge in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Ect)
  • Highly organized and capable of effectively prioritizing tasks
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Experience working with Netsuite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function
  • Develop and implement operational-level policies, practices and procedure
  • Knowledge of Netsuite/CRM
  • Experience in supporting multiple business lines
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to interact professionally with both clients and peers
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision and handle multiple tasks
  • Must be cooperative and able to work in a team environment
