Job Description
The Manager, Renewals - Americas EAST is accountable for managing the team that focuses on customer retention through the renewal process. Their team is responsible for driving, managing, and closing renewal opportunities within the assigned territory. This position requires a strong knowledge of systems and process selling, and the ability to manage a team closing large volumes of opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and train the team of Renewal Managers
- Lead and supervise weekly forecast with meetings with Renewal Managers
- Create weekly reports with the activities done during the week, including the forecast and commit.
- Participate in the weekly forecast team meetings
- Provide support and supervision on achieving quarterly and annual sales results
- Participate in field calls, QBRs, or any other relevant field activity together with the territory leaders to get firsthand information from the field and be aligned with the business strategy
- Ensure outstanding sales results and comply 100% with finance and legal policies
- Build an open communication environment for the team
- Propose new ideas for better tools, processes, and new methodologies to be implemented in their team
- Goal setting & performance management for the renewals team
- Develop and implement account management strategies to drive retention, upselling, and customer satisfaction for a large portfolio of clients
- Collaborate with sales and marketing and other internal teams to identify new business opportunities and drive growth
- Monitor and analyze account performance data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustment
Qualifications
- 2-3 years previous management or leadership experience
- 3-5 years relative work experience - Working knowledge of renewals, renewal programs, nurture programs, loyalty programs and strategies that support revenue growth from existing customers
- Strong numbers and data skills, ex. Pivot tables
- Creative Presentation skills
- Professional communication skills
- Out of the box problem solving
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is required
- Organized, process-oriented, and close attention to detail is required
- Team Player that enjoys sharing credit for collaborative efforts
- Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred.
- Building reports and dashboards in Salesforce a plus
- Working knowledge of Gainsight
- Sharepoint utilization experience
