Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Renewal/Transfer Franchise Agreement Processing
  • Receives transfer applications by potential franchisees, including all attachments and data.
  • Enters all initial application data entry into our systems, and monitor progress of same through approvals.
  • Prepares renewal/transfer franchise agreements, applicable state addenda and negotiated change addenda for review by supervisor.
  • Sends approved renewal/transfer franchise agreements and addenda to potential franchisee for signature and monitor and follow up on the return of the signed renewal/transfer franchise agreements.
  • Reviews signed renewal/transfer franchise agreement, addenda and supporting documentation for final review and signature.
  • Sends final copies of documents out to franchisees and upload copies into our document management system.
  • Database Management
  • Maintains database integrity to ensure information is kept current at all times as it relates to franchise agreements and events surrounding each franchise.
  • Lender Documentation
  • Receives all requests for SBA Addenda related to transfers.
  • Issues documents to lender and properly updates information in our systems.
  • On return of signed lender documents, reviews for completeness and forward for signing.

Job Summary

The Renewal/Transfer Specialist is responsible for the collection, data entry, maintenance, and reporting associated with the renewal and transfer processes. This position interacts with existing and potential franchisees, drafts and coordinates the execution of franchise documents for renewals and transfers.

Work Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a related work environment, Pref
  • Experience in a fast paced, detail oriented, and customer focused position, Pref
  • Experience in franchise/contract administration, Pref

Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Understanding of legal and entity formation documents
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, and support
  • Ability to maintain and handle matters of confidentiality with utmost tact and diplomacy
