Team: Account Executive
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Renewals Manager in India.
This role plays a critical part in driving customer retention and subscription continuity across a global portfolio of enterprise accounts. You will be responsible for managing the full renewal lifecycle, ensuring customers successfully transition into new contract terms while maximizing value realization and minimizing churn risk. The position requires close collaboration with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align on renewal strategies and execution. You will proactively engage with customers months in advance to understand usage, address risks, and present tailored renewal proposals. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and attention to contractual detail. This is a high-impact role where your ability to manage relationships and drive structured processes directly influences revenue retention and growth.
Accountabilities:
- Manage the end-to-end renewal lifecycle across a portfolio of enterprise customers, ensuring timely contract execution and high renewal rates
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to define renewal strategies, objectives, and account plans
- Engage customers proactively 4–5 months before contract expiration to assess usage, value realization, and renewal readiness
- Review customer contracts, licensing terms, and product usage to ensure alignment with agreed commercial conditions
- Prepare, present, and negotiate renewal proposals, including pricing adjustments and contract amendments where required
- Identify churn risks early and develop mitigation plans in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and renewal status documentation in CRM systems
- Escalate and coordinate resolution of customer issues with support, technical, and professional services teams
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in renewals management, account management, customer success, or similar roles in a SaaS/technology environment
- Proven track record of managing and closing renewals across a large portfolio of enterprise accounts
- Strong understanding of contract structures, licensing models, and commercial agreements
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, finance, legal, and customer success teams
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to analyze customer usage data and translate insights into renewal strategies
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with revenue accountability
- Experience in SaaS, iPaaS, or API-based platforms is a strong plus
