The Renewals Sales Specialist position works directly with BetterCloud’s customers to help us continue our partnership with them. Our team is focused on providing an incredible customer journey throughout their commercial conversations and ensuring that we are creating creative options in order to increase our renewal rates. On Renewals, you are the main point of contact for all renewal conversations. There is opportunity for cross-functional collaboration and the ability to provide feedback to improve our customer experience and streamline our internal processes.
About You
- 2-5 years of professional experienceÂ
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience with renewals function, negotiating complex renewals
- Experience in a fast-paced Technology/ SaaS company that is on a subscription model
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to handle objections and facilitate escalations
- Analytical skills with the ability to understand customer usage patterns and identify growth potential
- Approaches work with a positive attitude and creative, problem-solving mindset
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and adaptable
- Extraordinary time and process management skills
- Driven team player with an empathetic approach who takes ownership for the delivery of customer satisfaction
What You’ll DoÂ
- Manage the renewal process from initial commercial conversation through signature for 200 strategic customers
- Act as the main point of contact for subscription and procurement questions related to account renewals
- Develop an understanding of BetterCloud’s products, GTM strategy, and standards for pricing and negotiating renewals
- Research customer contracts and purchasing history in order to build timely and accurate quotes for renewal
- Accurately forecast and exceed quarterly and annual targets in your book of customersÂ
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Customer Success, Finance, Deal Desk, and Legal to ensure successful renewals

Salary:
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 OTEÂ
This salary range represents BetterCloud’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and BetterCloud may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in BetterCloud’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of BetterCloud’s business and other operational considerations.
