The Recovery Services Renewals team is actively seeking a Renewals Specialist focused on contract renegotiations for small to medium sized organizations that have less than 1,000 employees and are current customers of Agility. The Renewals Specialist is primarily responsible for notifying members of an upcoming renewal, generating and delivering industry specific messaging, mitigating and processing downgrades and cancellations, pipeline forecasting, negotiating contract extensions, and identifying upsell opportunities for the sales team.
This is a hybrid opportunity located in our Denver, CO office.
In this role, you will:
  • Achieve renewals objectives through contract renewal negotiation for our small to mid-sized customers.
  • Maintain data accuracy for current customers.
  • Work to grow additional revenue and promote member engagement.
  • Identify sales opportunities through renewals outreach and current member needs.
  • Identify at risk customers and associated revenue.
  • Manage renewals activities per process guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Agility's products and services.
  • Use effective time and pipeline management to maximize results.
  • Document daily activities in salesforce.com, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline, and drive renewal rate, net retention, and communicate activities to renewals management.
  • Provide feedback from field experience to internal teams regarding product, selling, and competitive, etc. matters.
  • Work with accounting, operations, sales, and management teams to escalate issues, resolve member concerns and meet member needs.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures:
  • Accountable for net retention of the renewable base.
  • Accountable for getting customers signed to new paper with updated agreement language.
  • Accountable for consistently handling objections from current members, mitigating downgrades and cancellations, and negotiating renewal agreements on updated agreement paper.
  • Accountable for maintaining superior customer service through timely outreach, follow-ups, responsiveness, and setting clear expectations with current members.
  • Accountable for accurate forecast and pipeline management.
  • Accountable for maintaining system data cleanliness that pertains to and affects the renewals cycle.
  • Accountable for accurate forecast and pipeline management.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of successful business to business (B2B) customer facing experience.
  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce.com
  • Working knowledge on finding upsell opportunities through creative prospecting methods.
  • Proven drive to achieve goals with documented record of achievements.
  • Ability to follow existing procedures as well as the flexibility and creativity to develop, learn and help implement new ones.
  • A strong desire to learn a unique and specialized service catalog and use cases.
  • Ability & desire to learn intermediate IT, business continuity and disaster recovery concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in negotiating renewals of complex contracts, similar product offerings and working with procurement professionals.
  • Success managing and reporting on a renewals pipeline.
  • Proven ability to achieve quarterly renewals and activity goals with a documented record of renewals achievement.
