Credential applicants who wish to receive, resell, or license TransUnion products or services, and/or furnish, provide, supply, or contribute data to TransUnion for Domestic and International business units. Credential companies TransUnion engages to provide services to TransUnion to ensure regulatory compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards that regulate Personal Information, as well as TransUnion business practices.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years credentialing experience
We'd Love To See:
- Extensive knowledge of credentialing process and demonstrated history of solid decision making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain extreme confidentiality in all matters relating to the position.
- Ability to lead experienced staff in daily activities in absence of department Supervisor/Manager
- Provide hands on training to entry level Associates
- Exercise independent judgment over priority setting with minimal Supervisor/Manager oversight or input
- Collaborate with Sr. Management and Owners at Customers locations, as well as Supervisor/Manager as point of escalation when needed, for complex problem solving
- Consistently maintain SLA requirements with respect to quality and production
- Superior customer service/interaction skills; Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Consistent and appropriate professional interaction with internal business unit team members and/or external business leaders.

- Performance of due diligence examination and or investigation on complex entities, including those involving geographic areas outside US.
- Authentication of end users permissible purpose/authorized uses based on local government regulations and laws.
- Assessment of certified intended use of services and or products requested on complex packages and/or packages from geographic areas outside US.
- Examination and investigation via third party tools and/or resources; as well as research of online resources that can be used as compensating resource equivalent to third party tools and/or resources approved in the US
- Determination, verification and authentication of Applicant's Federal, State, City/Municipal and other government regulatory requirements including those on international soil
- Assessment and determination of Applicant's business legitimacy based on local government requirements per applicable country
- Enforcement of TransUnion policies regarding credentialing and ability to make recommended amendments to the same, based on working experience
- Outreach to internal customers as well as external customers/applicants via both written and telephonic communication.
- Mentor, coach and motivate the team based on prior experience, knowledge of the process, and learned best practices.
- Provide guidance with respect to Project questions and concerns related to transactions. Build process improvement and efficiencies around consistent themes and incorporate into training materials.
- Act as a SME in credentialing matters related to each business unit and provide guidance, updates and direction as necessary, in the absence of manager and/or for educational/developmental purposes.
- Participation in projects, process improvement initiatives and other group sessions or meetings as requested by Management.
- Responds to voice / written escalated inquiries consistently in a timely/professional manner.
- Proactively address process or communication concerns amongst all impacted parties (sales, BU, potential customer). Make recommendations to enhance on-going interaction and ensure compliance for improved customer satisfaction.
