Report Developer
Job Description
Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking an experienced Report Developer to join our talented Business Intelligence & Reporting Team.
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, the Report Developer will be a part of a dynamic team supporting Development and maintenance of reports and dashboards utilizing BI tools including Tableau, SSRS, SAP Business Objects, and Crystal Reports.
How you will make a difference as a Report Developer at Fragomen:
- ETL & Database development which involves developing complex SQL Server & SSIS based processes that supports our reporting and analytics platforms.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards within Tableau, SSRS and Business Objects suite (Webi and Crystal Reports) using Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Troubleshoot issues and train users on the use of the reports.
- Collaborate with various teams within the business and in IT, to ensure the reports are built consistent with requirements.
- Verify data in SQL Server databases for accuracy identify inconsistencies and recommend corrective action.
- Participate in monitoring and upkeep of reporting environment.
- Serve as the data and analytics expert with an ability to:
- Quickly adapt to new systems and data models.
- Work in a highly collaborative environment with minimal supervision.
- Establish and follow standard Tableau and SSRS development, transport and promotion processes
What we expect from our BI Reporting Developers:
- Having a say: You'll participate in the problem definition and solution process with a diverse group of Engineers, designers and business owners from around the company.
- Proper engineering: Develop and maintain ETL data loads, custom SSRS/BO and Tableau reports for various firm-wide business areas and clients.
- Communications Specialist: You'll use strong, front-end presentation skills to evangelize the team's reporting and analytics capabilities to Partners and Executives throughout the Firm.

Let's talk if you have the following qualifications and experience:
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in BI, Reporting, and Data Analysis
- Experience with Tableau visualization and dashboard construction
- Expert SQL Server 2012+ development skills with emphasis on
- Development of Transact SQL stored procedures and functions
- SSRS & SSIS Development
- Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning
- Data Modelling and Analysis
- Building Robust end to end ETL solutions (incremental /Full load) using SQL & SSIS.
- At least 3 or more years of related experience working with reporting and visualization tools, especially in
- Tableau
- SAP BO
- SSRS
- Experience with data analytics & data warehouse development. Experience with Snowflake is a plus
- Exposure and/or experience with SharePoint Administration is a plus
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written are MUST
- Business and system analysis skills
- Sound knowledge of the SDLC process
- Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weakness of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Proven experience in handling multiple deliverables efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
