Report Tester

Savan is looking for an Report Tester who can ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of reporting tools, particularly Oracle OAS/OBIEE or Tableau.
Role Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive testing of reports and dashboards developed using Oracle OAS/OBIEE or Tableau.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate report functionality and data accuracy.
• Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in reports.
• Collaborate with report developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing reports.
• Validate data against source systems and ensure data integrity.
• Provide detailed test results and feedback to developers and project managers.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of testing standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Report Tester or in a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• U.S. Government Public Trust or the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience, relevant coursework, or Oracle OAS/OBIEE or Tableau certification.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.

Remote OR Hybrid Schedule (Savan HQ, Vienna, VA )
