About the role:

The Reporting Analyst designs, develops and implements custom reporting solutions while maintaining and revising existing reports.  This role collaborates with cross functional teams to define, design and deploy solutions that meet company needs and looks for opportunities to maximize automation.

What you’ll do:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Statistics, or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
• 3+ years data and report buildout experience
• 5+ years database analysis and/or administration
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (use of macro’s, pivot tables, queries, formulas)
• Experience working with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
• Proven ability to document business requirements
• Eye for detail and demonstrated ability to solve problems logically and systemically while ensuring information is accurate and consistent across reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex information to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manne

What we’re looking for:

• Own the reporting, analyses and data deliverables utilized by stakeholders to drive business decisions.
• Create ad hoc reports, data analysis and dashboards.
• Manage export needs & data models, coordinating with Data Engineering to secure new data available for the business to use.
• Interpret and refine data requirements, working with stakeholders to identify key metrics, develop reporting and present actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities for automation to more efficiently provide repeatable data extractions to reduce manual effort and rework.
• Partner with the Data Engineering team to build foundational solutions to reporting problems that ensure accuracy, ease of use, and query performance.
• Work independently, managing and meeting competing deliverables while keeping stakeholders informed on timelines and setting expectations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to our approaches, methods, or technologies to support overall business goals and drive team efficiencies.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality.
• Provide coaching and peer leadership to junior analysts/support specialists.
